Snip N' Clip
Snip N' Clip began in 1958, in Kansas as Ronnie's Fashion Full Service Beauty Salons. Noting the trends changing from intricate hair creations to simple, smart cuts for the family. Ron Mitchell, founder of Snip N? Clip, introduced his first family shops in early 1975. Snip N' Clip caught on swiftly and, to date, has enticed each year over one million men, women and children to sample a 'quick snip'. Male haircuts account for 55% of the business, women at 27% and children at 18%. The business is presently headquartered in Lenexa, Kansas and employs about 600 persons, including all of its shops. Ron believed in efficient and timely support for the stores and utilized company airplanes to this advantage. The company still has two planes that it uses to meet with existing and prospective franchisees, build and open stores and still be home in time for dinner.
