American Wholesale Thermographers / AWT

American Wholesale Thermographers (AWT) offers wholesale raised-letter printing for print brokers, copy centers, business service centers and retail printers. The automated workflow system allows for a 24-hour turnaround on almost all orders. There are currently 16 franchises in 13 states and 2 provinces. Franchise support and training is provided, and there is a Specific Minority Program being implemented. Goals are to expand to all states. Infrared imaging science detects radiation in the infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum (roughly 9,000–14,000 nanometers or 9–14 µm) and produces images of that radiation, called thermograms. Thermography allows one to see with or without visible ambient light. Because radiation levels increase with temperature, infrared imaging science shows variations in temperature, as well. For well over 20 years, AWT has provided printing companies, office supply stores, copy shops, print brokers and other printing retailers solutions to their thermographic printing needs.
