Our History
Originally founded by Lucie Wismer in 2003 as Lucie’s Home Services in Durham, North Carolina, the goal of Lucie’s Home Services has always been to provide excellent, reliable, and personalized cleaning service to bring smiles to the faces of every single customer. Lucie’s offers the highest quality residential home cleaning services at affordable prices. Lucie’s started as a small group of friends cleaning just one home and not long after that, the referrals kept coming. The rest is history.
After many successful years in business in one local community, Lucie decided to take her show on the road and help other residential home cleaning business owners, by creating the Amethyst House Cleaning franchise. Lucie continues to bring her passion for helping others in her business by deeply valuing her team members and supporting them personally and professionally because she truly believes that the Amethyst Clean brand exists because of the hard work and dedication of her employees.

Our Support
We help our franchisees deliver a personalized and safe experience to customers with support from operations to marketing and ongoing research and development.
- Operational Support: We will provide ongoing training and support in many areas, including unit operations, maintenance, customer-service techniques, product order, pricing guidelines and administrative procedures.
- Marketing Support: We will coordinate development of advertising materials and strategies, consumer marketing plans and materials.
- Ongoing Business Development Support: We will provide our continued research methods and techniques to enhance unit-level profitability.
