Freshii
Walking into a Freshii might make you feel like you just stepped into a real New York City deli. From the large refrigerated cases to the uniforms worn by the workers, everything has an almost old-fashioned look. Founded by a man with a dream of making healthy food fast, the first storefront opened in Toronto in 2005 to provide consumers with healthy snacks and delicious dishes that are affordable and good for you. Customers watch as workers prepare their favorite dishes right in front of them.

Finding fast food is easy, but it isn't always as easy to find healthy fast food. Freshii wants to change things and make diners realize that they can eat healthy and still have access to delicious food. Salads and wraps feature locally sourced ingredients and premium ingredients from across the country that add crunch and flavor to those dishes. But, they don't stop there, offerings include soups, burritos, juices, smoothies, bowls and sandwiches. They even serve breakfast and have a strong catering business.
Freshii Franchise History
Matthew Corrin was a fashion designer working in New York City when he decided to turn his love and passion for delis into a chain of restaurants that would let those living in other cities and states experience the same flavors and dishes. In 2005, Corrin opened his first location in Toronto, Canada. The success of that restaurant led to Corrin opening several more restaurants and giving interested parties the chance to open franchises of their own. Freshii now ranks as one of the top franchise opportunities in Canada and is expanding into the US, with Freshiis in more than 60 cities and 12 countries worldwide.
