SERVPRO Franchise Opportunities - History
The SERVPRO franchise began as a painting business located in Sacramento, California. In 1967, owners Ted and Doris Isaacson decided to take a different route with the business and, instead, transformed the company into a cleanup and restoration service. The first SERVPRO franchise sold in 1969 and the brand continued to grow rapidly in the following years, achieving 175 franchised locations by 1979. A decade later, the company relocated its headquarters to Gallatin, Tennessee where it became a major contributor to the small-business community. Today, the franchise has approximately 1,700 locations.
