The Human Bean Drive Thru
The Human Bean opened its first store in Ashland, Oregon, in 1998. Early success and positive customer reception encouraged them to open additional locations throughout Southern Oregon during the next five years. The most significant growth of the brand has occurred through franchising. In early 2002, they began franchising their brand and system. The Human Bean is now 46 locations strong in 7 states with several more pending permits or currently under construction. Working together, The Human Bean representatives and franchisees have developed new markets for the specialty coffee and drive-thru industry that have not previously existed. The goal of The Human Bean is to affiliate with determined and positive individuals who are committed to developing the best drive-thru espresso brand.
