Marine Veteran Matt Lundy Opens TruBlue of Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, VA. (PRWEB) JANUARY 04, 2018

Marine Veteran Matt Lundy has moved back to his hometown of Chesapeake to open a new business to serve seniors and busy families – TruBlue of Chesapeake.

TruBlue offers handyman services, maid and cleaning services, lawn care, emergency repairs, seasonal projects, a home watch program, a senior accessibility program and more. TruBlue is a great option for busy families and seniors who want the comforts of home without worrying about property maintenance as well as homeowners, realtors and rental property owners who need to get homes move-in ready and keep them maintained. TruBlue also offers commercial services for business clients. TruBlue of Chesapeake serves Chesapeake, Great Bridge, Virginia Beach, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Suffolk and the surrounding areas.

“There are people who do parts of what we do, but not all of what we do. TruBlue is a full-service company that can take care of your entire house or property – it’s truly one company, one call,” Lundy said. “I’m excited to be back in my hometown to serve the community in a new way. I want to be a trusted resource people can call, whether they need my services, they are looking for a referral or they have a question.”

Before opening TruBlue, Lundy retired from the US Marine Corps and worked in a wide variety of jobs, including logistics, recruiting and strategic planning. He’s an active volunteer and has a 7-year-old son. Lundy understands the impact TruBlue can make on seniors and busy families.

“My grandfather had Alzheimer’s and my grandmother had a stroke. They lived in a two-story house on the water with the pool and, even though they wanted to stay at home, the house itself was hard to maintain. I was always fixing things, cutting the grass, taking care of the pool… but eventually my grandmother decided she had to downsize and we had to place my grandfather into a care facility to the tune of $5,000 a month. Things were never the same after that,” Lundy said. “TruBlue works with all kinds of clients, but I’m especially excited about working with seniors to help them maintain their homes so they can live there safely and comfortably for as long as possible.”

All TruBlue franchises are fully insured and bonded and all employees are background checked. To learn more about TruBlue of Chesapeake, call (757)606-9806, email MLundy@TruBlueHouseCare.com or visit http://www.TruBlueChesapeake.com.
