PUROCLEAN VICE PRESIDENT OF FRANCHISE RELATIONS CHRISSY VANDERWYDE RECEIVES GOLD “STEVIE” LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Tamarac, FL – (September 9, 2021) – PuroClean, a leading restoration and remediation franchise, today announced that Vice President of Franchise Relations, Chrissy VanderWyde, has received a prestigious Gold “Stevie” Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Business Awards. Presented each year since 2002, the Stevie Awards recognize the accomplishments and contributions of companies and business people worldwide. As part of this year’s program, VanderWyde was named a Gold Lifetime Achievement Award winner within the Consumer Services Industry, recognizing her 31-year tenure at PuroClean and her work across the industry.

Since joining PuroClean in 1988, VanderWyde has steadily risen the ranks within the national restoration and remediation leader and has served the PuroClean network in nearly every department or capacity. Her responsibilities have continued to grow as part of PuroClean’s leadership team, and today, she is an Executive Team member who manages the Home Office franchise management systems, all benefits, and human relations activities, vendor relations, and the coordination of all team and franchise events. Chrissy is a key player in all decisions related to team member development.

VanderWyde has coordinated nearly every event for the company within the last 20 years; including managing the company’s annual Convention and Awards Banquet – its largest, most important event, which gathers hundreds of owners and team members each year in different cities across the U.S. Due to the pandemic, in 2020, the in-person event could not take place. VanderWyde pivoted her team by collaborating departmentally to produce a well-received and highly attended virtual awards broadcast for the entire franchise network with approximately 150 teams in attendance, hosting viewing parties throughout North America and Canada. She also organized the return of the company’s Convention to an in-person event this year. With more than 400 attendees representing franchise owners from across the United States, guest speakers, vendors, and exhibitors, Chrissy orchestrated a seamless event that celebrated the company’s pivot to aid their communities affected by COVID-19 and lead cleaning efforts on the front lines in 2020. VanderWyde successfully managed the programs and timelines for this hybrid event, coordinating the in-house participation of departmental event staff, franchise community attendees, award nominations, a Vendor Expo, workshops, and materials, as well as special charitable efforts for Feeding America which brought in over $15,000 for the very worthy cause in South Florida.

Another important feature of VanderWyde’s portfolio is to help in expanding the brand’s reach into new territories, supporting owners in the launch of their new franchise businesses through in-depth training at the world-class PuroClean Training Academy she helped develop throughout her tenure, and to coordinate the franchise owner peer support groups who are nominated every year as a conduit between the franchise community and Executive membership.
